Attending: Tony Langerud, Terry Heimer, Tim Mathre, Michelle Voegele, Lisa Sammon

Absent: Keith Valentyn, Melissa Lutz

1. Board membership

   1. Current board members include Tony Langerud, Tim Mathre, Melissa Lutz and Keith Valentyn

   2. Motion approved to add the following board members: Michelle Voegele, Terry Heimer, Lisa Sammon

   3. Goal to have 9 board members.  Current discussions for additional two members.

   4. Current Officers

      1. Tony Langerud, Chair

      2. Keith Valentyn, Vice Chair

      3. Open, Secretary

      4. Tim Mathre, Treasurer

   5. Motion approved to appoint Lisa Sammon as Secretary

2. IRS Non-profit status

   1. There was previous 501c3 lake association entity; but it expired back in 1999. 

   2. Currently operating as an advisory committee.

   3. Goal for winter 2024 to re-instate the non-profit Status.

      
      

3. Annual Fundraiser is Saturday, July 20th at the Channel Inn. Additional communication and promotion to the membership to attend and support the event.

4. Weed harvest discussion

   1. Manual weed harvesting for summer of 2024 is cancelled.

   2. Working with www.limnopro.com on options for chemical weed mitigation  for summer of 2024 and long term strategy.

5. Flood follow up.  Witte's has a bunker for people to haul their contaminated bags there.

6. Goal to plan one social event for the end of the season.  Moe is willing to spearhead.  Terry will put a post on FB to see if any other members are willing to help plan.
